Where We Work
Variaform's design, development, and conceptual work all happen in South Tyrol, where we take the time to think, test, and refine every idea. Manufacturing takes place in the Netherlands, in collaboration with a small-scale workshop that value craftsmanship, precision, and thoughtful production.

Ofer Kristal
Architect · Designer · Parametric Thinker
Ofer starts every project from real needs - social, spatial, environmental. His practice combines architectural sensitivity with advanced parametric design and digital fabrication, shaped by years of experience in humanitarian contexts and in some of the most avant-garde architecture studios. He also teaches architecture and product design, pushing students to think critically and design with purpose (and be surrounded by fresh ideas).
Ofer lives in the mountains of South Tyrol and balances work with climbing, skiing, and long alpine hikes.
Adar Adler
Engineer · Materials & Systems Specialist
Adar turns ambitious concepts into practical solutions. A machine engineer with expertise in composite materials and complex architectural assemblies, he ensures that design and fabrication work seamlessly together. He knows how materials, systems, and components interact, making everything function reliably, efficiently, and elegantly.
Adar enjoys building things with his hands - from workshop prototypes to small wooden projects - and loves tinkering with new mechanical ideas whenever he can.
